The house and property, both inside and out, were beautiful with great views. It was located in a good area close to the beach with lots of dining options, but not too touristy. The breakfast was wonderful with a variety of options, all of which were fresh and tasty. Thomas and Jonas were friendly and welcoming and provided great suggestions for dining and other areas to visit. We would definitely recommend staying there if you are traveling to the area.

Literally the whole place is a masterpiece! Everything is well thought through and feels wonderful from the minute you enter the place! The location, the incredible house, the pool, amenities, breakfast, THE OWNERS – I wish I could give 11 out of 10 for it ALL!

We had an amazing stay at Palm View Guesthouse. Everything is newly renovated to a very high standard, beds were super comfortable, pool was fab and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here new time we’re in the Algarve.

We spent 6 nights here in July and enjoyed every minute. The place itself was very beautiful but the whole ambiance made it even more special to us. It was very calm and a good place to relax if that’s what you are looking for. The two host are also very friendly and always there to help or talk to if you need anything. They really take great care of their guests:) The breakfast they offered was amazing as well, great fresh options that were all very delicious.. Overall a very pleasant and fun experience!!

The ABSOLUTE BEST place to stay when in Algarve!
Palm view guesthouse will immediately make you regret that you didn’t book for longer! Here are just some highlights:
1) The location is perfect: you got an incredible beach of Luz in a walking distance where you also have all kinds of great places to eat! Much better location than staying in Lagos, for example;
2) The house itself is a piece of art! The owners Jonas and Thomas poured their heart into it and it is visible literally in every corner of that place – both inside and outside;
3) The breakfast was fantastic and every day became more and more tailored to your taste, since the hosts pay extra attention to what you like more;
4) Last but not least: the hosts themselves are simply fantastic people! They go out of their way to make you feel your best and it was a pure pleasure to get to know them!

Our stay at this boutique hotel in Luz was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, we were taken by the beautiful design—a perfect mix of modern elegance and local charm. Every little detail made the place feel cozy and inviting. The pool, nestled in a lovely garden, was a peaceful retreat where we spent many relaxing days.
What really made our stay special were the two wonderful Swedish owners. They made us feel like we were visiting old friends. Their warm hospitality was incredible; they were always ready with local tips, restaurant recommendations, and engaging conversation.
Mornings were a treat with a breakfast that was more like a feast. We enjoyed fresh fruit and salads, delicious pastries, and many other tasty options—all beautifully presented. It was clear they put a lot of thought into making sure everyone started their day well-fed and happy. Plus, we loved the free coffee and tea available all day, and the self-service bar with a great selection of beer, wine, liqueurs, and snacks was a nice touch.
The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Everything was spotless, making it easy for us to relax and feel at home.
In short, this boutique hotel in Luz is a true gem. The beautiful design, exceptional service, and fantastic breakfast made our stay truly memorable. We can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a special place to stay in the Algarve. Five stars, without a doubt!
